Alarmed by the flurry of forced resignations of high-profile men and their proxies, a Bangalore school librarian named Deshmukh preemptively resigned yesterday afternoon. Admitting that it was indeed a case of extreme paranoia, Deshmukh curiously said he had done no wrong and he was in no way associated with IPL.
Managing a school library that houses now defunct Russian children’s magazines, Deshmukh has a measly income that automatically disqualifies him from being even remotely associated with IPL. But, strangely, he believes he can be randomly selected by IT department for conducting raids on.
Deshmukh’s friends say he has always been a paranoiac freak. “For sometime he never used to allow anyone lend books from the library fearing it might get lost. This had resulted in the library ceasing to be a library for a few days”, says a close aide of Deshmukh.
Citizen journalist Hrishikesh refused to comment on this matter. Echoing Prime Minister’s comments in a similar matter, he merely said, ‘all facts have to be looked into’ and hurried off to cover a hunger strike by gourmets.
