The Over-hyped, conveniently hated MF Hussain, with his middling paintings in the background is sadly dead
Hitler is hated the world over and Gandhi is vilified by almost all organizations claiming to speak for the majority religion of India. India forms a sixth of the world. Go to hell, baseball fans. Some Congress die-hards insist that Nehru is also frequently vilified post-death and should be a part of the club of “Dead Hated Guys”, but that’s besides the point and Nehru is largely, deservedly, ignored, for the rest of this post.
The point, of course, is that pointless controversy seekers, pseudo-nationalists and post-Victorian Hindus are now one meal-ticket/punching bag short. It’s not as easy as it looks to find a replacement.

He was a guy who painted naked goddesses in a religion that worshipped the naked form for about 5,000 years. Therefore, protesting against his works would be both ironic and harmless. It would also gain you the following of millions of idiots who were so misinformed of the religion of their parents that they thought(and thousands still do) that it was a genuine act of heresy. Yes, harmless even for him since the notoriety thus acquired gave him millions,” said AVX Shenoy.
A committee has been formed which will seek such a punching bag in the goldilocks zone. Atheists and people who are preaching the “planet is round” are leading contenders. “Atheists are the only thing worse than pseudo-secularists. And these bastards who preach that the world is round are almost as bad as the jerks who say there’s no God. I mean, there is no reason to re-state the obvious. But by us hating them, they will serve a grand purpose..of building our political career without us having to riot and such like,” said one unnamed individual.
“The council is still hoping for a painter to step in and give us some mediocre work to hate. There’ll be a certain sense of continuity there that an atheist or a rationalist won’t be able to provide. Even a sculptor is okay, as long as they have some reality show, that gives them some sort of recognizability among the masses.”
All in all it’s not such a bad job. You get hated by a bunch of idiots and get millions of bucks. It’s the exact reverse of demagogery politics: paying millions of bucks to be loved by idiots.
