Dayanidhi Maran has indeed resigned here’s a vegetarian buffet of reactions.

UPA
With Dayanidhi Maran gone there was speculation as to who’d replace him as Textile minister. Former Home Minister Shivraj Patil is tipped to be the leading contender for the textile ministry in the next cabinet. He has lots of clothes, and wasn’t shy about changing them in middle of 26/11

BJP:
The BJP said Dayanidhi Maran resigning was no big deal and overdue. Off the record one spokesman alleged that the party manifesto would be tweaked to read “Once we come to power we’ll have a better scam just to have some ministers resign.”

Karunanidhi:
The DMK patriarch meanwhile channeled my late grandma and blamed the media. She said to my aunts and my mother, and I quote “He watches too much TV. The media is to blame. TV indane ounu Halagiddu (He is spoilt because of TV)”
