Those opposed to Hazare now, are simply on the wrong side of history
Sources suggest that after an extensive intelligence gathering operation senior leaders in the Congress are almost certain of an Indian hand in the Jan Lokpal Movement.
I spoke to a man who claimed to be running things for the government. “The first giveaway was the fact that movement was pushed by an organization called ‘India Against Corruption’. But names can be deceptive. I mean, Indira Gandhi is still believed to be somehow related to Mahatma Gandhi and well…that’s just not true. But we were still sure that it was the US which was against corruption in India. Who the hell are the Americans to oppose corruption in India. The bastards. They can go to hell. We’ll be as corrupt as we want to be. No, I’m not deviating from the topic. Death to America! “
“Okay, okay, back to the point. Now, the second clue was slightly more convoluted. There were 3,000 people outside Tihar Jail to receive Anna and about 35,000 people in Ramlila Maidan on the weekend. A lot of these people were shouting slogans that rhymed in Hindi with no accents. Some of them had India flags and were wearing Gandhi topis. We don’t have all their passports or IDs but we strongly believe these people were Indians. A CNN IBN journalist was allegedly asking people what religion they were and some Hindus and possibly even Muslims beat him up. Now the plot thickens, eh? Which country do you think has a lot of Hindus and Muslims and annoying CNN IBN reporters? India!”
Now, I’m almost certain that the working committee has communicated these intelligence inputs to the high command. Soon a robust action plan will be released. Worry not. The Congress government will deal with these Indians and their conspiracy against corruption.
