A Charity For Insanely Rich People: Saving Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Airlines

The latest Dark humor meme seems to be a charity for rich people
A charity for insanely rich people has been set up to help out Vijay Mallya now that Kingfisher Airlines is on the verge of failure. In many ways I don’t care one way or the other, but if my tax funds go into saving an airline, I really don’t see why it should be a communist themed trade unionized shoddy operation like Air India. I’m sorry if that’s harsh, but really, I’ve had enough of their BS strikes. In any case, the theme behind a charity for rich billionaires is also “what have the poor people done for you, lately?” Which is another interesting question. While it’s a sweeping generalization that utterly discounts all those working hard to get out of poverty this raises the uncomfortable spectre of how to deal with those that don’t participate positively in society. The current plan seems to be “ignore it till it goes away”.
In any case, the charity for rich people is available at http://savekingfisherairlines.wordpress.com. It’s worth checking out. Even if I do say so myself.
